Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both commercial and residential electrical work, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and industry standards. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as hands-on experience with high voltage and low voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Ensure all work is performed according to NEC standards and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects to integrate electrical systems seamlessly.
• Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become problems.
• Utilize hand tools effectively for various tasks including frame carpentry when necessary.
• Provide maintenance person services as needed to support overall project completion.

Requirements

• Proven 3+ years experience as an Electrician in both residential and commercial environments.
• Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low/high voltage systems.
• Familiarity with NEC regulations and safety practices related to electrical work.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Experience working on construction sites with a solid understanding of construction processes.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
