Senior Recruiting Manager, Corporate Services at The Axel Group, LLC
The Axel Group is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our client's team in Union County, NJ! Our client is a growing award winning architecture firm with a presence in NJ, FL and NY! They offer competitive compensation and a great company culture! The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions on HR policies, benefits, and general inquiries
- Support full-cycle recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and onboarding
- Administer employee benefits programs and serve as a liaison with benefit providers
- Maintain employee records in the HRIS and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist with performance management processes, including goal setting and annual reviews
- Help develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and initiatives that align with the firm’s culture and goals
- Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, events, and recognition programs
- Support compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role
- Prior experience in a professional services or design/architecture environment preferred
- Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
