Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Location: Waterloo, Iowa

Salary: DOE

Job Summary: The Human Resources Manager will help create the HR Department. Responsibilities include recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing job postings, interviewing candidates, and making hiring decisions.
  • Addressing employee concerns, managing performance, and overseeing disciplinary actions.
  • Managing employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.
  • Ensuring compliance with employment laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Developing and implementing training programs.
  • Managing payroll processing and salary adjustments.
  • Maintaining employee records.
  • Participating in HS & College Career Fairs and recruiting.

Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or GED required; Associates' or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of HR experience, especially in recruitment, employee relations, and benefits.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in starting up an HR department is a plus.
