Job Title: Human Resources Manager
Location: Waterloo, Iowa
Salary: DOE
Job Summary: The Human Resources Manager will help create the HR Department. Responsibilities include recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws.
Responsibilities:
- Managing job postings, interviewing candidates, and making hiring decisions.
- Addressing employee concerns, managing performance, and overseeing disciplinary actions.
- Managing employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.
- Ensuring compliance with employment laws, regulations, and policies.
- Developing and implementing training programs.
- Managing payroll processing and salary adjustments.
- Maintaining employee records.
- Participating in HS & College Career Fairs and recruiting.
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or GED required; Associates' or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2+ years of HR experience, especially in recruitment, employee relations, and benefits.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
- Experience in starting up an HR department is a plus.
