On behalf of our client, a prestigious private university located in Los Angeles, CA, we are seeking an HR Compliance Generalist that will support and ensure all HR policies and records comply with regulations and oversee audits. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and expertise in HR compliance within a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with healthcare sanctions, visas, I-9s, licenses, and certifications
- Manage and audit HR compliance documentation using internal systems
- Prepare for external audits and inspections
- Oversee employee records, compliance tracking, and reporting
- Support visa processing, leave of absence, and workers' compensation teams
Required Skills:
- Required HS Diploma and 1+ years of Human Resources Operations support experience required.
- Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, and HRMS System.
- Some knowledge of CA Dept of Public Health (CDPH)
- Strong attention to detail for compliance audits and documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookup), & Adobe Writer
Licenses/Certifications:
- Required: Fire Life Safety Training (LA City). If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date. (Required within LA City only)
- Preferred: HR Certification
