We are a fast-growing software development company in the restaurant, hospitality and small business retail industries providing POS and business solutions. We are looking for a high-performing IT Support to provides front line point of sale support to our customer.

Responsibilities

  • Support Specialists and Field Technicians.
  • Provide front line point of sale support for the restaurant systems.
  • Configure, troubleshoot and deploy POS terminals, printers and scanners.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Train clients regarding use of POS system.
  • Provide technical research resources for incident resolution coordinating with vendors when necessary.
  • Work with applicable resources to troubleshoot networking/broadband related issues.
  • Maintain troubleshooting documentation for frequent incident occurrences and FAQs for user groups.

Skills/Requirements

  • 2 years of IT experience in POS provider for restaurants is a plus.
  • Experience with Linux, Windows OS and Active Directory environment
  • Knowledge of SQL Server database environment
  • Basic knowledge of computer network infrastructure design and communications
  • Knowledge of POS solutions and related technologies is a plus.
  • Customer Service/Help Desk/Remote Support experience or equivalent is preferred.
  • Work experience in a restaurant is a plus.
  • Must have professional phone, email and customer service skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute concurrent tasks independently.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Bilingual is a plus (English & Spanish).
