What We Do

We manage assigned accounts to increase market share, meet revenue and strategic objectives, and serve clients. As the primary interface to customers, we develop comprehensive account plans to identify key sales opportunities with existing and potential clients. Our responsibilities include customer service, coordinating action plans with internal and external entities, and possibly engaging in sales and business development. We implement activities and training based on a strong understanding of client needs and product knowledge. We aim to be product experts and communicate requirements for product enhancements to Product Management/Marketing.

First American is seeking an Account Manager in the Bloomfield Hills office.

Responsibilities Include:

  1. Achieving assigned revenue quotas and goals aligned with company strategies for top accounts.
  2. Establishing and maintaining senior management contacts and relationships with assigned accounts.
  3. Developing long-term strategic account plans to identify opportunities, define goals, and allocate resources.
  4. Coordinating efforts with other Account Managers and management across locations or divisions.
  5. Building and maintaining relationships at all levels within the accounts, leveraging company resources to ensure high visibility.
  6. Identifying new business opportunities and collaborating with teams to prioritize and integrate them into account plans.
  7. Qualifying opportunities based on customer needs, timelines, and purchasing ability.

Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of the lending and banking industry.
  • Knowledge of front-end systems.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent training skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years related experience.
