The Senior Accountant will assist management in preparing various financial statements, tax returns, and other accounting reports.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and reports.
- Perform accounting and reporting for investment portfolios.
- Reconcile daily cash transactions and maintain accurate ledger records.
- Assist in budgeting by providing variance analysis.
- Participate in testing internal controls for compliance with NAIC Model Audit Rule standards.
- Facilitate communication between departments and accounting to resolve cross-departmental challenges.
- Stay updated on industry issues impacting the organization.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting systems as needed.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Act as supervisor for accounting employees when requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or a related field.
Experience
Preferred:
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Licenses & Certifications
