Business Law/Investment Management Senior Counsel or Associate

Overview

Quarles & Brady LLP seeks a transactional associate with at least three years of experience or a senior counsel with at least 8 years of experience to join the investment management team of our Business Law Group in one of our office locations.

Location

Office locations: Chicago, Denver, Indianapolis, Madison, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Naples, Phoenix, San Diego, St. Louis, Tampa, Tucson, Washington D.C.

Responsibilities

• Provide transactional support in investment management matters, including investment adviser, investment company, and broker-dealer regulatory compliance and formation.
• Represent institutional investors; advise on private fund formation; support transactions in the investment management space; perform other general corporate work.
• Collaborate with lawyers and non-lawyers inside and outside the firm; maintain strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience for an associate; 8+ years for a senior counsel
• Experience in investment management matters; strong academic credentials
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Excellent organizational skills
