Overview

Lesna Construction is currently seeking a Mechanic to be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all machinery (Backhoes, Excavators, Lifts, etc.). Maintain all vehicles—regular, diesel and small-engine motors. Experience required. MUST HAVE A GOOD DRIVING RECORD. Prefer employee to be bilingual, but not required. Will work 40-hour work weeks, with the occasional overtime dependent upon a heavy project load. Salary to be determined based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heavy equipment and vehicles (backhoes, excavators, lifts, etc.).
• Maintain records of service, inspections, and repairs.
• Operate and test equipment after repairs to ensure proper performance.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with safety policies.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and repairing heavy equipment and vehicles; diesel and small engines.
• Valid driver\'s license and good driving record.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform preventive maintenance.
• Ability to work 40-hour weeks with occasional overtime based on project load.
