Overview
Wireless Systems Engineer role focused on developing and implementing algorithms to enable wireless connectivity between Terrestrial Bluetooth devices and satellites. This is a full-time position with preference to be based in Seattle, WA (Relocation Assistance Available) but open to a remote work option for senior/more experienced candidates. Responsibilities
Develop and implement algorithms to enable wireless connectivity between terrestrial Bluetooth devices and satellites Participate in modeling, system design, and implementation of wireless communication Collaborate with cross-functional groups of hardware and software engineers Qualifications
Basic qualifications
2 years of directly relevant experience Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline Strong understanding of communication theory and signal processing-related algorithm design (e.g., channel estimation, equalization, beamforming, timing recovery, coding, error correction) Knowledge of existing wireless communication protocols (5G/LTE/WCDMA/GSM, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be, 802.11ad/ay or Bluetooth/Bluetooth Low Energy) Experience in developing signal processing and wireless communications systems (FSK/OFDM/MIMO) and hands-on lab testing Experience with Matlab or Python and/or C/C++ for algorithm development, modeling, and simulation Experience with High Level Synthesis (HLS), silicon prototyping, FPGA development and emulation systems Experience bringing up real systems in silicon/FPGA/SoC and using lab equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer, signal generator) Ability to work independently Ability to learn new technologies, network protocols and tools rapidly Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Ability and willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment Availability to work extended hours and weekends as needed for highly critical events Passion for creating state-of-the-art software systems Strongly desired
5 - 10 years of relevant experience Experience with multi-radio coexistence management Experience in modem architecture, microprocessor architecture, hardware and software control Experience in low power algorithm design for power-critical applications Benefits
