Position: Wireless Systems Engineer. Full-time. Preference for Seattle, WA (Relocation Assistance Available) but open to a remote work option for senior/more experienced candidates. As a Wireless Systems Engineer, you will be part of the team developing and implementing algorithms to enable wireless connectivity between terrestrial Bluetooth devices and satellites. You will be involved in all aspects of modeling, system design, and implementation of wireless communication and will collaborate with cross-functional teams of hardware and software engineers. Responsibilities
Develop and implement algorithms to enable wireless connectivity between Bluetooth devices and satellites. Contribute to modeling, system design, and implementation of wireless communication systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams of hardware and software engineers. Work across the full lifecycle from concept to reality, rapidly and effectively. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: 2 years of directly relevant experience; Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline. Strong understanding of communication theory and signal processing-related algorithm design (e.g., channel estimation, equalization, beamforming, timing recovery, coding, error correction). Knowledge of wireless communication protocols (5G/LTE/WCDMA/GSM, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be, Bluetooth/Bluetooth Low Energy). Experience developing signal processing and wireless communications systems (FSK/OFDM/MIMO) with lab testing and characterization. Proficiency in Matlab or Python and/or C/C++ for algorithm development, modeling, and simulation. Experience with High Level Synthesis (HLS), silicon prototyping, FPGA development and emulation; lab equipment such as oscilloscope, logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer, signal generator. Ability to work independently and learn new technologies rapidly; strong interpersonal and written communication. Willingness to work extended hours and weekends for highly-critical events as needed. 5 - 10 years of relevant experience. Experience with multi-radio coexistence management. Experience in modem architecture, microprocessor architecture, hardware and software control. Experience in low power algorithm design for power-critical applications. Benefits
