Overview
Wireless Systems Engineer — full-time. Based in Seattle, WA (Relocation Assistance Available) with remote work option for senior/m more experienced candidates. This role involves developing and implementing algorithms to enable wireless connectivity between Terrestrial Bluetooth devices and satellites. You will be involved in all aspects of the modeling, system design and implementation of wireless communication, and you will work with cross-functional groups of hardware and software engineers. Base pay range: $130,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr Required qualifications
2 years of directly relevant experience Bachelor\'s Degree (Masters preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline Strong understanding of communication theory and signal processing-related algorithm design (e.g., channel estimation, equalization, beamforming, timing recovery, coding, error correction) Knowledge of wireless communication protocols such as 5G/LTE/WCDMA/GSM, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be, 802.11ad/ay or Bluetooth/Bluetooth Low Energy Experience in developing signal processing and wireless communications systems (e.g., FSK/OFDM/MIMO) and hands-on lab testing and characterization Experience with Matlab or Python and/or C/C++ for algorithm development, modeling, and simulation Experience with High Level Synthesis (HLS), silicon prototyping, FPGA development and emulation systems Experience bringing up real systems in silicon/FPGA/SoC and using lab test equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer, signal generator) Ability to work independently and rapidly learn new technologies, network protocols and tools Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment Availability to work extended hours and weekends when highly-critical events dictate Passion for creating state-of-the-art software systems Preferred qualifications
5 - 10 years of relevant experience Experience with multi-radio coexistence management Experience in modem architecture, microprocessor architecture, hardware and software control Experience in low-power algorithm design for power-critical applications Benefits
