Overview

Sentinel Manager Software Engineering 2 - 15675 - R -2 at Northrop Grumman. Location options include Roy, UT; Colorado Springs, CO; or Huntsville, AL. This role includes both functional management and technical responsibilities on the program.

Clearance type: Secret. Travel: Yes, up to 25% of the time. Relocation assistance may be available.

Responsibilities

  • Functional management (approximately 20% of time): assess staffing needs, support recruitment activities, establish goals, conduct performance evaluations and merit adjustments, provide career development and mentoring, and generate training plans.
  • Technical responsibilities (approximately 80% of time): develop software for analytics tools, Data visualization and transformation; work with data scientists to interpret data relationships; derive and allocate requirements into detailed design; design, develop, and test displays, controls, and functionality; develop simulation software for data analysis; create AI algorithms for data analysis; maintain databases; collaborate with Systems and Quality Engineers; perform software peer reviews, version control, automated tests, CI/CD in alignment with DevSecOps.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience, or 10 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • U.S. Citizen with active DoD Secret Clearance; investigation date within the last 6 years.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access.
  • 1 year of experience leading projects and interfacing with customers.
  • Experience developing semantic data ontologies and working with large datasets; familiarity with statistics and data systems; programming experience in relevant languages and tools.

  • Experience bringing advanced ideas to final products.

Compensation & Other Details

Salary range: Primary Level Salary Range: $135,100.00 - $224,000.00. Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses may apply depending on position and business needs. Long-term incentives may apply for VP/Director roles. Benefits include health, life, and disability insurance, savings plan, company-paid holidays, and PTO.
