Associate Director, Advisory Corporate Affairs KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Advisory Corporate Affairs to join our Corporate Affairs organization.

Spearhead operational performance across campaigns, instilling strong program management into integrated B2B campaigns, ensuring that we can take full advantage of each opportunity. Help to ensure the execution of comprehensive communications strategies that elevate KPMG's brand and reputation across multiple channels, maintaining alignment with firm-wide objectives, Advisory business priorities and key multi-functional stakeholders. Serve as Advisory communications liaison for the editorial planning process for integrated B2B thought leadership campaigns, balancing strategic vision with operational excellence to maximize impact and reach, serve as a key connector across Advisory communications teams, fostering collaboration, program management discipline, and knowledge sharing to drive coordinated messaging and storytelling. Identify and pursue untapped opportunities to enhance KPMG's reputation, leveraging data-driven insights and emerging technologies—including GenAI and analytics—to inform and refine communications approaches. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives, providing counsel on media and content strategy, corporate messaging, reputation management, and brand positioning in internal and external contexts; Lead on the creation of compelling content, from press releases and bylined articles to executive briefings and digital/social content, tailored for diverse audiences and channels; monitor external trends, competitive activity, and industry news to anticipate risks and inform proactive reputation management and crisis response strategies. Utilize advanced analytics, media monitoring, and automation tools to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns, uncover actionable insights, and continuously enhance communication outcomes; mentor and support the professional growth of communications team members, encouraging innovation and high performance within a dynamic, matrixed environment. Help to ensure consistent messaging and brand voice across all touchpoints, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to integrate communications efforts seamlessly throughout the organization. Qualifications
Minimum eight years' experience in corporate communications, editorial management, and project leadership within professional services or highly matrixed environments. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university. Proven editorial judgement and background as a journalist or editorial leader, with a demonstrated record of developing thought leadership campaigns and high-impact storytelling for B2B audiences; exceptional project management expertise, with a process-oriented, results-driven mindset and the ability to coordinate complex, cross-functional programs from conception to execution; advanced skills in media relations—building, managing, and leveraging relationships with leading business and industry journalists, including proactive story pitching and earned media results. Strong experience in corporate reputation management, brand strategy, and serving as a trusted advisor to senior executives on media, messaging, and positioning in both internal and external communication; fluency with emerging technologies, especially AI, data analytics, media monitoring tools, and GenAI platforms to enhance communications effectiveness and extract actionable insights. Demonstrated creativity and innovation in content creation, including press releases, executive briefings, bylined articles, social media, and digital communications tailored to diverse audiences; ability to anticipate external trends and proactively address opportunities and risks related to brand and reputation. Excellence in mentoring and fostering the professional development of communications team members, promoting collaboration, high performance, and knowledge sharing; superb interpersonal and influencing skills, with proven success in forging partnerships with senior leaders and stakeholders across an organization.
