Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Project Manager for our valued partner, a dynamic and mission-driven organization recognized for innovation and collaborative work. This is a hybrid opportunity that is CTH (contract-to-hire) based in Long Beach, CA.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Our partner is seeking a proactive and organized Project Manager to lead critical initiatives from start to finish. This role will oversee planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring effective communication across diverse teams and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will thrive in fast-moving environments and bring both strategic leadership and hands-on project management expertise.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the full lifecycle of projects, from initiation to delivery and post-project evaluation.
Define project goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure alignment and timely outcomes.
Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
Identify risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
Facilitate project meetings, stand-ups, and reviews to maintain clarity and accountability.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven experience successfully leading projects through all phases of project management.
Must have at least 4+ years of hands-on project management experience.
Prefer experience in the following industries: technology, constructions, marketing or healthcare.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
Skilled in project management platforms (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project, Monday.com, MS Office).
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical teams.
Relevant project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) are a plus.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This position offers a competitive compensation pay rate of up to $70/hr based on experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits program including healthcare coverage, paid time off, retirement plan contributions, and professional development opportunities.
