Exciting opportunity for an experienced Legal Assistant to join a fast-paced property tax litigation firm in Dallas, Texas. As a Legal Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the team with an extensive case load. This role goes beyond administrative support, requiring a highly organized professional who can juggle multiple tasks, maintain deadlines, and ensure attorneys have everything they need to successfully prepare and manage cases. You will be deeply involved in the day-to-day operations of the practice, handling filings, managing scheduling, preparing correspondence, and serving as a direct point of contact for clients and court personnel. The Legal Assistant will also be expected to adapt quickly to changing priorities and ensure all documents and case files remain accurate and up to date. Assisting with managing and organizing a high-volume litigation case load Preparing, proofreading, and filing pleadings, motions, and other legal documents Monitoring case deadlines, court calendars, and schedules to ensure timely filings and compliance Maintaining and updating case files, both electronically and in hard copy, ensuring documents are accessible and accurate Drafting and preparing routine correspondence to clients, opposing counsel, and court staff Acting as a liaison between attorneys and clients, ensuring timely communication and excellent service Legal Assistant Background Profile

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably in litigation or a law firm environment Strong knowledge of case management, legal filings, and e-filing procedures Familiarity with property tax law or litigation is a plus, but not required Associate's degree, Legal Assistant certification, or equivalent experience preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft professional correspondence Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle competing priorities and meet strict deadlines Highly detail-oriented with strong follow-through and reliability Tech-savvy, adaptable to new legal software, and proficient in MS Office Suite Professional demeanor with the ability to interact effectively with attorneys, clients, and court staff Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership over tasks and responsibilities Features and Benefits
