Snowmaking Supervisor
The Snowmaker Supervisor at Massanutten serves as a team lead for operational success and training of snowmaking team members. This position is responsible for organizing and leading a team of snowmakers with an emphasis on safety while operating and maintaining modern snowmaking equipment. Other responsibilities include electrical and mechanical problem-solving, heavy equipment operation, snow cat operation, and grounds & facilities maintenance. This position requires working outside for extended periods in inclement weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail. Required: Excellent communication skills Safety-conscious decision making Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on sloped terrain Ability to work in all weather conditions Preferred: Proficiency in electrical wiring and schematics Proficiency in mechanical systems Welding experience Heavy equipment operation experience Typical Schedule: Days: Varies, weather-dependent; weekends and holidays as needed Hours: Rotating, hours vary including evening and night work.
