HR & EHS Coordinator
to support our Human Resources and Environmental, Health & Safety operations. This dual-role position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment and enjoys making a meaningful impact across teams. What Youll Do: Human Resources (HR): Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and employee support. Serve as a key contact for HR policies, benefits, and conflict resolution. Facilitate HR training and maintain employee records. Support payroll, leave requests, and benefits administration. Assist with policy updates and HR reporting. Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS): Ensure compliance with OSHA, Cal/OSHA, EPA, and internal safety standards. Conduct audits, lead the safety committee, and manage incident investigations. Oversee EHS training programs and maintain documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed safety best practices. Support sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives. What Were Looking For: Required: Bachelors degree in HR, EHS, Business, Engineering, or related field. 25 years of combined HR and/or EHS experience, preferably in manufacturing. Knowledge of California-specific regulations and workplace safety protocols. Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills. Proficiency in MS Office; HRIS or EHS systems experience is a plus. Preferred Certifications: HR: PHR or SHRM-CP EHS: OSHA 10/30-Hour, CSP, CHST, or equivalent Office and manufacturing floor presence required. Occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs) and PPE use in designated areas. Must be comfortable navigating both administrative and hands-on responsibilities. Why Join Duke Empirical?
