Reporting to the CRM Administrator of the Admissions Data Center, two part-time Data Enrollment Specialists perform multiple tasks, including creating and maintaining the enrollment database in the College's student information systems to the maintenance and upkeep of all student, applicant and inquiry data. It is expected that all efforts in this position are approached with continuous improvement in mind.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ESSENTIAL
Responsible for all data entry and uploading of all documents for undergraduate and graduate Admissions including but not limited to transcripts and other supporting documents for application file in the ERx databases. Manage the flow of data information throughout the admissions offices and to other areas (such as Academic Services, Registrar, Student Financial Services, academic departments) of the college to ensure seamless operations and communications. Generate decision letters for the Traditional Admissions Office Provide Ad Hoc Reporting Complete data tasks as assigned by admissions counselors/staff in CRM Enter lead cards/student information collected at college fairs/off campus events Attends regular technology trainings and webinars to stay up to date with new trends in the field Daily maintenance of the integration data Work with and assign tasks to student workers Troubleshoots self-discovered issues in addition to triaging issues identified by colleagues and external stakeholders Enter student deposits Checking, processing, distributing of the Data Center email and mail Functions as a backup to the CRM Administrator Special projects as assigned
Qualifications
Education and Training
High school diploma required Three to five years of experience in Information Technology or data reporting Knowledge of Salesforce CRM platform, Informatica and Conga Composer preferred Working knowledge of enterprise information systems
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Strong organizational skills with the ability to establish priorities, organize resources, and meet deadlines while working on multiple tasks and maintaining a high attention for detail. Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time determining what will drive results along the way Regardless of workload, the ability to maintain a professional appearance and office atmosphere Knowledge of rules, standards, regulations, and laws regarding student records. Ability to be discrete in handling confidential matters while complying with FERPA regulations. Ability to adhere to college and departmental policies and procedures. Proficiency with an integrated administrative system and current computer software programs. Ability to operate standard office equipment Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments A sense of humor and positive attitude is a plus. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Ability to stand and/or sit and perform job functions for shift. Ability to drive. Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work both independently and as a member of the SAGE team. Complexity
The individual in the role of database coordinator must be able to prioritize tasks and trouble shoot problems within the student databases that might arise. An open willingness to learn new technologies and processes is a must. A good deal of accountability and a drive to succeed are required.
