Overview
Principal Oracle Cloud HCM Developer hybrid position. The Principal ERP Developer provides technical development services throughout the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering, design specification, code development, unit tests, integration, acceptance testing, and implementation support. Responsibilities cover application customizations and enhancements, integrations and interfaces, conversions, reporting, and business/technical automated workflows. Possesses functional business process knowledge in one or more areas of Human Resources (Absence Management, Benefits, Core HR, Compensation, Payroll, Retirement, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management). Works with expertise in IT architectures including SaaS and PaaS cloud technologies, databases, networking, and security principles to interpret business requirements and design/develop technology architecture. Principal Developer can lead projects and teams, mentor others, and provide expert guidance in tools, methodologies, standards, and best practices. Collaborates with team members, program management, stakeholders, and Business Analysts to create innovative end-to-end experiences from proof of concept (POC) to final product. Responsibilities
Engage in requirements gathering, design specification, development, unit testing, integration, and acceptance testing; provide implementation support. Develop and maintain applications, customizations, interfaces, conversions, reporting, and automated workflows within Oracle Cloud HCM / ERP environments. Apply functional HR knowledge (e.g., Absence Management, Benefits, Core HR, Compensation, Payroll, Retirement, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management) to solution design. Leverage SaaS/PaaS cloud technologies with a strong grasp of database, networking, and security principles to interpret business requirements and drive technology architecture. Lead projects and work teams; mentor colleagues; provide guidance on tools, methodologies, standards, and best practices. Collaborate with team members, program management, stakeholders, and Business Analysts to deliver end-to-end solutions from POC to production.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services 10+ years as a systems analyst/developer 2+ years supporting finance, HR, supply chain, or payroll modules of large ERP (Kronos, Time Attendance) 4+ years working with Workforce Integration Manager (WIM) Strong experience with Java Enterprise (JEE) Experience with Oracle ADF, MAF, JET, OCS containers, micro-services Experience with test automation and CI tools (e.g., Hudson) Strong public cloud infrastructure background (Oracle, AWS, MS Azure, Google, OpenStack variants)
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Information Services, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, or related field 5+ years supporting Oracle Cloud / e-Business HCM, Payroll, Supply Chain, and/or Finance 6+ years supporting Kronos workforce management applications (Timekeeper, Advanced Scheduler, Attestation, Analytics) 4+ years with custom Kronos report development (SSRS) 3+ years supporting Oracle HCM modules (Core HR, Compensation, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Benefits, Retirement) Strong Oracle HCM Cloud tech skills across Data Loader, Integrations, Extensions, Reports (BIP, OTBI), Extracts, and Fast Formulas Experience with middleware and integration patterns (OIC preferred); pagination and orchestration development Experience in personalization and customization of HCM pages SQL, PL/SQL, XML, JavaScript, and Web Services Provide end-user support and issue resolution for Oracle HCM Cloud; stay current with product releases and best practices Experience in Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) development; Redwood page customization API development and management experience
