Project Engineer
Key Responsibilities: Assist Project Manager and Superintendent with daily project operations, scheduling, and coordination. Prepare, review, and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation. Maintain accurate project records including meeting minutes, logs, and reports. Support estimating, budgeting, and cost control efforts throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, and consultants to resolve design and construction issues. Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and company standards. Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to schedule. Assist with project closeout, including punch lists, O&M manuals, and turnover documentation. The Successful Applicant: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience. 1-3 years of experience in commercial, multifamily, healthcare, or civil construction (internship or entry-level experience considered). Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar), MS Office Suite, and scheduling software.
