Field Support Specialist (On-Call) Reports To:

The Field Support Specialist (On-Call) will report to the Client Services Supervisor, Client Services Manager, Human Resources, or equivalent leadership. Job Overview: The Field Support Specialist/Mailroom Specialist provides exceptional office and mail services in a floating capacity for positions where regular employees are out of the office, or if projects require additional coverage. The role covers mail, reception, hospitality, facilities, copy/print, or similar office services functions. This position is based at a specific client home office and may be sent to different client sites on short notice. Flexibility and adaptability are keys to success. The position aims to deliver the highest level of service to all client and SPS employees while maintaining a professional image by providing prompt, courteous and efficient service. Duties and Responsibilities: Provides 5-star customer service to all employees (in all forms of communication). Answers calls and provides an exceptional customer service experience for all incoming/outgoing visitors. Assists with light facilities duties, such as opening trouble tickets, ordering supplies, and stocking kitchens/service areas with supplies. Receives inbound mail/packages, sorts mail, and inputs into chain of custody software. Manages outgoing mail/package transactions; performs shipping/receiving duties. Notifies employees upon receipt of inbound deliveries and distributes mail/packages to personnel. Assists with office moves and with copy/print orders, monitoring equipment for functionality. May assist with setting up/taking down conference rooms for meetings/events. Proactively seeks additional work during downtime and builds professional relationships with customers and other teams. Maintains professionalism and composure when interacting with all employees. Trains backups and provides guidance on policies and procedures. Determines additional support needed when handling sensitive inquiries; provides exceptional customer service and front-of-office coverage as needed. Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication, multi-tasking, organizational skills, and knowledge of MFD equipment. Understands shipping/receiving procedures and can comprehend instructions; works independently and completes projects as required. Determines appropriate packing materials and verifies packing slips for accuracy of incoming/outgoing materials. Maintains a flexible schedule and hours. Qualifications and Education Requirements: High School Diploma (or equivalent) required. 6+ months of prior work experience preferred. Ability to work assigned hours determined by management. Excellent organizational and time management skills; analytical problem-solving abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge or ability to learn computer-based systems relevant to the position. Professional appearance and attitude; adherence to all policies and procedures. Physical Demands: Approximately 50% of the time this position requires physical abilities including lifting/moving packages up to 60 lbs, walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and manual dexterity to operate office machinery. Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater frequently. Travel:
