Role Overview
We are actively seeking a dynamic Senior Vice President for Institutional Advancement to lead our fundraising and alumni relations initiatives. This key leadership position will play a crucial role in enhancing the institution's visibility and support among a diverse range of stakeholders, including alumni, trustees, students, faculty, staff, and the broader community. You will collaborate closely with the President and the Board of Trustees to strategically plan and execute comprehensive fundraising campaigns.
Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing an innovative fundraising program, overseeing gift solicitation strategies, and ensuring the success of alumni engagement initiatives. Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) along with at least 8 years of extensive experience in non-profit fundraising, particularly in the context of higher education.
We are looking for a passionate leader with exceptional communication skills and a strong ability to advocate for our mission. You will need to thrive in a fast-paced environment, working with a collaborative management team, Board members, and advancement professionals.
This position demands high energy, creativity, and innovation, and the successful candidate should be prepared for an active role that may require work during evenings, holidays, or weekends, as well as some travel (approximately less than 10%).
