About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director (ED) to lead the organization in its mission of social justice and community support. The ED will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership, overseeing program development and implementation, and ensuring the organization's financial sustainability. This role requires a visionary leader who can inspire and mobilize staff, volunteers, and the community to work towards the shared goal of dismantling inequitable systems and supporting individuals on their journey to self-determination.
The successful candidate will have a deep commitment to the values of the organization, including a strong understanding of the principles of social justice and a proven track record in community engagement. Key responsibilities for the ED include fostering a culture of collaboration and inclusivity, managing relationships with key stakeholders, and representing the organization in the broader community. The ideal candidate will have experience in a senior leadership role, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex social and political landscapes. A background in social work, public policy, or a related field is preferred, and a graduate degree is a plus.
