About the Role
The Company is seeking a President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide visionary leadership and strategic direction. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall executive management of the organization, ensuring the highest quality of member services, and upholding the fiscal, legal, and ethical integrity of the association. This role involves close collaboration with the Board of Governors to shape the future of the organization, lead the execution of a strategic plan, and deepen strategic partnerships. The CEO will also be the primary advocate for the industry, leading in public policy and fostering strong relationships with government officials, media, and other stakeholders.
Candidates for the President and CEO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of senior executive leadership experience, with a proven track record in advocacy, communications, and relationship building. The role requires a leader with strong business and financial acumen, P&L responsibility, and a successful history of staff leadership. Experience in the chemical industry or a related sector is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will be an innovative, transformational thinker with the ability to anticipate and address industry challenges and opportunities. They should also possess excellent interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and a reputation for integrity and sound judgment. A Bachelor's degree is required, and an advanced degree or industry-relevant certifications are a plus.
