The CEO will be a strategic, collaborative, and visionary leader, responsible for embedding the organization's core values into all aspects of its work. This includes mission leadership, organizational management, strategic growth, and fostering a culture of equity, inclusion, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will serve as the primary ambassador, driving community and donor relations, and will be the chief fundraiser, leading efforts to secure diversified funding. Essential duties also involve strategic communications, inclusive culture and staff leadership, and ensuring sound financial and operational management.
Candidates for the CEO position at the company should have a MA, MS, or MSW in a relevant field, with at least 10 years of experience in a senior management role within a nonprofit organization. The role requires a dynamic, people-centered leader with a proven track record in resource development, including fundraising and donor cultivation. Strong communication, strategic planning, and financial management skills are essential. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the nonprofit sector, experience in diverse, multicultural environments, and a commitment to the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
