About the Role
The Company is seeking a Business Unit Manager to join their HR Business Execution team. This role is pivotal in supporting the HR functions for the US Personal Banking and Wealth divisions. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving key employee life cycle processes, business-specific people initiatives, and enterprise-wide strategic projects. They will also serve as a primary delegate to the Head of Business Execution for US Personal Banking and Wealth HR, and will be instrumental in identifying opportunities to streamline and integrate the HR business execution model. The Business Unit Manager will lead the development and execution of internal business communications strategies, ensure adherence to communication standards, and advance organizational and people strategy goals through integrated communication and talent initiatives.
Applicants must have a minimum of 8-10 years' of progressive work experience, with a proven ability to work in diverse, high-pressure environments. A background in the financial services industry is essential, and experience in communications or marketing is preferred. The role requires excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills, as well as the ability to build and manage relationships with senior executives and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative work style, a leadership presence that commands respect, and the ability to work effectively across organizational boundaries. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree being preferred. The Business Unit Manager will also be responsible for HR project management, process governance, data analysis, and financial management, and must demonstrate a strong commitment to risk management and compliance.
