Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Location: Morristown, NJ 07960

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay: $19–$20 per hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to support department leadership and ensure smooth day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to work autonomously with attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to department leadership, including managing calendars and phone lines.
  • Organize and coordinate meetings, events, and appointments; schedule rooms and resources accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate records, track correspondence, and handle filing and organization tasks.
  • Manage ordering and tracking of office supplies and materials.
  • Create and prepare documents such as PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, newsletters, reports, meeting minutes, and agendas.
  • Execute internal processes efficiently to support departmental operations.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries and requests, maintaining a strong customer service approach.
  • Support the Total Rewards/HR team with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to provide assistance and ensure departmental goals are met.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • Prior administrative experience highly desired.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint is highly desired.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a positive, professional demeanor.
