Facilities Maintenance Technician

Work Hours: This position is expected to work Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm with some nights, weekends and holidays required. Shifts for this position will vary depending on event schedule.

Maintain and repair the facility, keeping the venue impressive to the public Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure everything runs smoothly, maximizing equipment lifespan and minimizing downtime Respond promptly to customer requests and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently Maintain a clean and organized work area, promoting safety and efficiency Typical Qualifications Required Education and Experience High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalency; 1 to 3 years' experience in routine/minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical or related maintenance work
OR
Any equivalent combination of training and/or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be substituted Additional Information Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
General maintenance, with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems A knack for troubleshooting and problem-solving, keeping calm under pressure Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effectively interacting with others when providing customer service A commitment to safety, adhering to all protocols and procedures with attention to detail The ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays, as determined by venue events Work effectively as part of a team and coordinate tasks with coworkers Recognize potential hazards, and maintain high standards of quality and safety Manage multiple projects and/or tasks
ADA and Other Requirements: Work Environment and Physical Effort: Medium: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Work Environment: Work is typically performed in an office or similar indoor environment. Employees may occasionally work in or around outdoor environment, confined spaces, vehicles, warehouse environments, and shop environments.
