Summary
The Supervisor - Customer Interface (Strategic Projects) will provide direct support to both the Manager and COO by developing and maintaining financial models, crafting detailed business cases, and delivering data-driven decision support for new projects and initiatives. This role will work cross-functionally and with both internal and external stakeholders to translate strategic directives into executive-level analyses, produce high-quality deliverables, and ensure each initiative launches with full visibility and accountability.
Responsibilities Financial Analysis & Reporting
Maintain and update financial templates (CapEx/Opex forecasts, basic ROI and cash-flow trackers) to support evaluation of new initiatives and partnerships Assemble preliminary business-case inputs-revenue estimates, cost summaries, payback timelines, and "what-if" scenario worksheets-to inform decision-making Monitor budget vs. actual results; flag significant variances and assist in root-cause analysis Contribute analytical support for diligence activities, including modeling integration costs, synergy estimates, and contingency buffers Strategic Planning Support Assist in drafting and refining strategy outlines for new business lines Support feasibility studies and benchmark analyses, gathering comparable data to validate growth options Help translate strategic goals into draft project outlines and milestone schedules for cross-team coordination Assist in the coordination of stakeholder meetings/discussion to review strategic assumptions and gather cross-functional input Support and assist in tracking progress against strategic initiatives, updating roadmaps and highlight the potential delays Cross-Functional Collaboration Serve as the finance lead within the team for the project working groups with Finance, Procurement, IT, etc.-aligning on assumptions, data sources, and deliverables Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions for new systems, processes, procedures, etc. to ensure technical specifications meet analytical needs, when required for the assigned projects Establish and assist in maintaining a centralized issues log, escalating unresolved items and ensuring timely resolution Coach and support junior analysts on modeling best practices, concept procedure workflows, etc Ad-Hoc Analysis & Executive Reporting Field urgent data requests and deliver rapid-turnaround summary tables or charts Update executive dashboards and one-page status reports with current figures and key highlights Assist in building clear presentation slides that distill complex data into actionable insights and recommended next steps
Client & Vendor Financial Coordination
Collect vendor costs and update comparison matrices; prepare side-by-side pricing summaries for SLA/MSA discussions Liaise with vendors to ensure timely delivery of proposals and clarify assumptions Consolidate and circulate regular cost-performance summaries to highlight potential savings and budget status Support contract renewal assessments by summarizing past performance and cost trends Market Research & Due Diligence Gather and filter external data (volume statistics, vendor quotes, market rates) to estimate market potential and entry challenges Assist in the evaluation of prospective partners, sites, and suppliers by compiling financial health indicators and operational profiles Produce concise research briefs and simple slide summaries that outline key trends, risks, and opportunity rankings Other duties as assigned
Compensation
$74,000-$84,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)
