Masis Staffing Solutions is assisting our client in searching for an Human Resources Coordinator in East Longmeadow, MA. This is a temporary 6+ month position supporting a busy HR department for a company who continues to grow. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to hit the ground running to provide immediate support across multiple HR functions.

Pay Rate: $28.00 – $32.00 per hour

Schedule: Full-time, Onsite, 8am to 5pm (flexible start/end times)

Duration: Temporary assignment 6+ months (with potential extension)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for daily and weekly administrative requirements of the HR team. This includes management of the personnel filings, support of business scheduling needs, basic project support, etc.
  • Support HR with onboarding new hires and processing all paperwork and setting up new hires in ADP for full-time employees and temporary employees.
  • Serve as a point of contact and respond to and/or support the resolution of employee inquiries regarding a wide variety of HR issues including payroll, benefits, compensation, etc.
  • Effectively interact with managers, employees, and vendors to coordinate scheduling of meetings and/or other activities
  • Manages administration of programs and processes engaged by HR
  • Demonstrates a solid understanding of manager and employee business needs, anticipates requests and works to deliver a positive resolution

Requirements

  • 1 year of HR support experience (HR Assistant, HR Coordinator, or related role).
  • Familiarity with ADP and payroll processing is a strong plus.
  • College degree and/or related experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
