Job Responsibilities

The IT CRM System Administrator is responsible for maintaining, configuring, and optimizing the Salesforce Education Cloud and Marketing Cloud platforms to support institutional business processes and user needs. Under the supervision of Data & Security Manager, this role ensures system security, data integrity, and performance, while providing technical support, user training, and documentation. Collaborates with stakeholders across campus to improve system efficiency, automate workflows, manage licensing, and oversee system configurations. Additionally, the role leads strategic and operational improvements through requirement gathering, development, acceptance testing, rollout, and ongoing support and maintenance. Sets up and configures applications, builds customized dashboards and actionable reports, manages data, and resolves user issues to enhance institutional effectiveness.

Salesforce & CRM Platform Administration - Configures and administers the Salesforce Education Cloud and Marketing Cloud platforms to support institutional projects and operations. Manages user accounts, roles, profiles, permissions, and data access to ensure a secure and efficient system. Stays current on new features and releases and share knowledge with end users.

User Support, Training & Communication - Provides technical support and serves as the first point of contact between SCC users and vendors. Conducts user training, creates documentation, and communicates system changes to ensure prompt and effective service and user satisfaction.

System Monitoring, Security & Troubleshooting - Monitors system performance and stability. Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves errors, bugs, and data anomalies. Configures and manages permissions, security settings, and accesses controls to ensure compliance and data protection.

System Customization & Automation - Designs and implements creative, feasible solutions using flows, workflows, process builder, validation rules, and page layouts. Tests custom Salesforce solutions to ensure functionality and efficiency.

Data Management & Reporting - Performs data imports/exports, de-duplication, validation, and database diagnostics. Builds customized dashboards and actionable reports in collaboration with campus departments to support business requirements.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

A high school diploma and work experience in systems development and maintenance, technical support, or the support of database management systems. A bachelor's degree in a related field may be substituted for the required experience. Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related area and five years experience in Salesforce administration, configuration and support. Experience with the Ellucian Colleague ERP. Experience in Higher Education.

Additional Comments

Work in an office setting. Occasional overnight travel for skills upgrade and professional development.
