Make an Impact as an Administrative Assistant!
The NewPath Child & Family Solutions Administrative Assistant position supports all aspects of our agency. We are looking for a multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude. The Administrative Assistant must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs, handle general office tasks, and excel at both verbal and written communication. This role assists management and all visitors to the agency by providing polite and professional assistance.
What you'll be doing
- Providing administrative support to the East campus and other campuses including typing, copying, transcription, filing, records, referral processing and other administrative duties. This position reports directly to the Program Manager.
- Provide excellent customer service to NewPath clients, family members, external entities and staff.
- Providing program support (reception, recording/filing, making client calls).
- Processing all referrals coming into the agency.
- Processing all phone calls coming into the agency.
- Detailed data entry as needed; develop data management tools in database or Excel for tracking due dates, client census, etc., as required by program managers.
- Provide clerical assistance and data entry for several different departments.
- Act as liaison for NewPath and external entities, including funders, guardians, and transportation companies.
- Correspond with external entities and families, including writing letters and making phone calls.
- Provide coverage for other NewPath offices as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Proficient in Word, Outlook, Excel, Publisher and/or PowerPoint.
- Team player, self-starter, highly organized with excellent time management skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and proof of current automobile insurance.
- Have a clean driving record with no more than 5 points and be able to pass a background check.
