About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff to join their team. The successful candidate will be a strategic, mission-driven leader with a proven track record in advancing organizational vision and goals. This role is pivotal in ensuring alignment, accountability, and collaboration across all departments. The Chief of Staff will be responsible for managing cross-departmental interdependencies, driving operational excellence, and exceeding performance goals. Key responsibilities include developing and monitoring site strategy, performance, and improvement, overseeing people operations, site operations, budget and finance, local recruitment, and supporting collaborative site priorities. The ideal candidate will have a college degree or equivalent work experience, 3-5 years of experience in leading cross-functional teams, and a strong passion for the company's mission.

Applicants for the Chief of Staff position at the company should possess a college degree or equivalent work experience, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a similar leadership role. The role requires a candidate with a demonstrated ability to partner with executive leaders, guide directors and managers, and manage multi-faceted operating plans and budgets. The Chief of Staff will be the principal organizer of the Senior Leadership Team, a trusted advisor to the Executive Director, and will act as an extension of the Executive Director in key meetings. The candidate must be adept at working under pressure, handling competing priorities, and have excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. A strong commitment to the company's mission, as well as experience in City Year or AmeriCorps, is a plus. The role demands a high level of diplomacy, discretion, and the ability to develop collaborative relationships.
