Job Overview

The Senior Manager, 5G Advanced Network Solutions (ANS) Product Management is a strategist, analyst, customer evangelist, leader of execution, and professional relationship builder focused on driving innovative and transformational solutions. Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Management, this role is ultimately accountable for developing T-Mobile's 5G ANS portfolio and creating transformational connectivity solutions across industries in T-Mobile's customer base. The role defines the long-term strategy of the product portfolio, aligns roadmaps, supports end-to-end technical delivery, defines scope for releases/product increments, and partners with Marketing, Sales, Technology teams, and external partners. You will work with T-Mobile and its partners to facilitate high-level meetings between executives and key stakeholders to promote and advocate for 5G ANS product objectives. You will help deliver customer trials and solutions, investigate, collaborate, deploy, and support on-site customer use cases, and document and demonstrate to customers the return on investment and value realization of T-Mobile's 5G ANS solutions portfolio. The role requires a well-rounded, customer‑empathic, strategic thinker with strong project planning, execution, commercial, analytical, and leadership skills to deliver differentiated products that drive growth. The team leverages advanced 5G technologies such as Network Slicing, Local Breakout, and Private 5G Networks; familiarity with 5G network technology and related challenges is preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop strategy and goals for the scope of business in collaboration with the Senior Director and peers, extending to customer teams and internal product/technology teams.

Drive cross-functional alignment with Engineering, Business Assurance, Financial Operations, and Accounting to understand current product experiences, identify opportunities, and prioritize feature development.

Maintain understanding of wireless industry trends for Enterprises and assess their impact on the roadmap or opportunities for innovation; analyze potential impacts with partners and vendors and incorporate analyses into the product process.

Own lifecycle management of multiple products, including creating, managing, maintaining, and communicating product vision and roadmap; support business case development for product initiatives.

Develop change management plans and cascade Vision and Strategy to align goals with corporate priorities from executives to direct reports.

Provide regular guidance to Product Management and Vendor teams on execution responsibilities; drive accountability for implementation, service levels, and adherence to contractual terms.

Ensure product funding follows enterprise processes; resolve blockers or issues related to product funding; coordinate activities and communications between internal teams and vendors.

Partner with leadership to determine back-office budgets for projects, products, and cost/supply improvements; represent T-Mobile as a primary vendor contact for performance, quarterly business reviews, escalations, and issue resolution.

Build and maintain relationships with vendor leadership to align and manage expectations of service delivery and reliability.

Assist direct reports with prioritization and resource allocation to ensure scope and outcomes are delivered; contribute to development plans and leadership opportunities for direct reports.

Develop, communicate, and monitor performance improvement plans as needed; provide timely coaching and foster a culture of constructive upward feedback.

Hire, manage, and develop a team of high-performing individual contributors; may serve as Product Manager for a specific product or group of products.

Education Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent experience. (Required)

Work Experience

7+ years of relevant Product Management experience in an agile software product development environment.

2 - 4 years experience managing teams of 5 or more resources in direct reporting relationships in Product Management organizations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Product Lifecycle Management experience in delivering large and complex business/technology initiatives. (Required)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly to executives and non-technical leaders. (Required)

Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, analyze, and synthesize product use data. (Required)

Compensation and Benefits Base Pay Range: $140,500 - $253,500

Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

The pay range above is for a general base pay range; actual starting pay is based on location, qualifications, and experience.
