About the Role
The Company is seeking a Partner for National Strategic Accounts in the Retina division. This high-impact, field-based role is pivotal in driving the strategic direction and execution of the company's ophthalmology products across retina private equity groups and top-priority accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and executing contract pull-through initiatives, developing and executing account-specific strategies, and fostering strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders. This role requires a deep understanding of market dynamics, the ability to proactively identify and address business challenges, and a commitment to driving business performance through proactive account management and cross-functional collaboration.
Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' of pharmaceutical or equivalent business experience, with at least 7 years' in the ophthalmology/retina therapeutic area. The role demands a proven track record in strategic account management, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and the ability to influence and build relationships with both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, be results-driven, and possess outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Experience with GPOs, contract negotiations, and leading cross-functional teams is preferred. The position requires the ability to travel extensively and a valid driver's license.
