The Mechanical Designer will be responsible for designing and developing custom machinery and mechanical systems from concept through production. This role includes creating precise 3D models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation to support manufacturing and assembly. The Mechanical Designer will work closely with engineers, project managers, and production teams to deliver designs that are innovative, cost-effective, and manufacturable.
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Design, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related discipline (or equivalent experience). 2+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within machine design or industrial equipment. Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, or comparable tools). Solid understanding of mechanical components, materials, GD&T, and manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, and fabrication. Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver accurate, high-quality drawings. Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
