Job Summary
The Mailroom Assistant will assist the Mail Room personnel with sorting, receiving, shipping, and delivery of mail.
Essential Duties Receive, sort, and document all incoming mail, parcels, and freight. Deliver items to departments across campus. Process outgoing mail and parcels meeting USPS guidelines. Deliver outgoing mail and parcels to shipping establishments. Meet daily deadlines. Follows directions and procedures Required Qualifications
MWSU Student Degree Seeking At least an overall 2.0 GPA Enrolled at least part-time (minimum 6 hours) Valid Driver's License is required. Has the ability to perform all duties listed above. Preferred Qualifications
Prefer ability to read cursive
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Responsible Dependable Organized Has strong attention to detail. Teamwork Know or able to learn the department locations across campus Personable and communicates with faculty, staff, and fellow students in a personable and pleasant manner.
Physical Demands Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Additional Demands
Able to lift up to 75 pounds on occasion.

Location: West Campus

Hours of Work
Anticipate 20 hours per week. Hours may vary.
