Director of Business Growth & Development
who will lead and expand our presence across Critical Illness Recovery Hospital (CIRH) and Post-Acute Facilities in the Cincinnati and Dayton Regions. This dual-role position is responsible for driving market growth through new business initiatives and physician partnerships, while providing operational oversight and support to ensure successful performance and contract execution at partner hospitals. Responsibilities
Market Expansion & Growth: Identify and pursue growth opportunities within LTAC and Post-Acute markets. Develop and execute strategic plans to increase patient census across targeted facilities. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of referral sources and strategic partners. Manage executive-level customer relationships for profitability and growth, and develop new business opportunities outside of existing customer base. Negotiate business terms within the context of contract templates. Physician Relations & Recruitment: Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians and clinical leaders to support recruitment and retention. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align recruitment efforts with market needs and service line expansion. Team Leadership: Potential to manage a team of business development professionals to help meet company growth/profit targets. Brand & Market Visibility: Represent MedOne at industry events, conferences, and community functions to enhance visibility and reputation. Implement initiatives to increase brand awareness and market penetration in targeted regions. Operational oversight & Performance Management: Provide operational support for CIRH contracts. Collaborate with onsite hospital leadership teams to ensure clinical, quality, and financial performance goals are met. Monitor and evaluate program operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing initiatives that enhance patient care delivery and operational efficiency. Serve as a liaison between the clinical, administrative, and corporate teams to align operations with strategic goals. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, Marketing or related field (Master’s preferred) Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in healthcare business development, preferably in CIRH, Post-Acute, or hospital-based environments. Prior experience with operational oversight is recommended. Skills: Highly organized; demonstrated success in physician engagement, recruitment, and network development; proven ability to increase market share and drive census growth; excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; ability to travel regionally as required, with quarterly travel to Columbus; ability to multi-task and prioritize; detail oriented; clinical knowledge.
