About the Role:
The Arizona Department of Revenue is seeking a Customer Service Representative 3 to support its Taxpayer Services – Licensing Unit. This is a customer-facing, in-person position that involves direct interaction with taxpayers regarding licensing and payment processing.
This is a contract position requiring on-site work at both the Phoenix and Mesa office locations. Schedule will vary based on assignment:
Phoenix: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Mesa: Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Provide front-line customer service to taxpayers
Process tax-related payments: cash, checks, credit/debit, money orders
Complete daily reconciliation and end-of-day balancing
Assist with license applications and updates
Educate customers on relevant laws, rules, and procedures
Maintain accurate and confidential taxpayer account records
Required Skills:
2+ years of customer service experience
1+ year in a high production/fast-paced environment
Experience with cash handling
Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Excel
Strong basic math skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
Additional Information:

Must be willing to commute to both Phoenix and Mesa locations
