My client is one of the oldest, most reputable general contractors in the Chicagoland area. They offer the ability to manage diverse project sectors including healthcare, hospitality, multi-family, high-end residential, industrial, retail and more. This past year, they completed over $600M in annual revenue, and due to continued growth they are looking to add an experienced Project Manager to the team.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through completion
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets in coordination with stakeholders
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and field staff
- Monitor project progress, adjust schedules as needed, and resolve issues to keep the project on track
- Maintain effective communication with clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns promptly
- Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Manage project documentation including contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and punch lists
- Perform regular site inspections to ensure work is proceeding safely and according to plans
- Track and report on project performance, including cost control, productivity, and risk mitigation
- Lead project meetings with clients, contractors, and internal teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field
- Proficient with Procore, Bluebeam, and/or related construction management software
- 5+ years experience in the construction industry
Job Offer
- $120,000 - $150,000 base salary
