We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team in Verona, Pennsylvania. This role is essential for fostering positive employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and driving HR initiatives that align with organizational goals. The position requires a dynamic individual who excels in employee engagement, talent acquisition, and performance management, while also being comfortable with travel to multiple facilities.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate employee records and develop analytics to track workforce data and trends.
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies and labor relations issues.
• Investigate and resolve workplace incidents, employee complaints, and disciplinary matters.
• Collaborate with senior HR and business leaders to create and execute talent acquisition strategies.
• Manage employee status changes, including transfers, promotions, and salary adjustments, while ensuring accurate documentation.
• Develop and implement training and development plans, track progress, and recommend follow-up actions.
• Partner with corporate benefits administration to address employee concerns and ensure timely enrollments.
• Support health and safety initiatives, including compliance with occupational safety regulations and safety benefit programs.
• Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws in both the U.S. and Canada, consulting legal counsel when necessary.
• Participate in regional safety committee meetings and assist with investigations of workplace accidents.• Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources roles, with a focus on employee relations and HR administration.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations in the U.S. and Canada.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analytics for workforce management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage benefit functions and onboarding processes.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to travel up to 50% to various facilities.
• Experience in developing and delivering training programs.
• Familiarity with occupational safety and workers’ compensation guidelines.
