Overview
You will be an essential member of the global HR team at Star Charge Americas by supporting Americas regions and assigned business units. We are a growing company looking for candidates who are willing to take on new challenges and be a key contributor of the growth.
This is an on-site position working at the Fremont office in California.
This person will report to the head of the global HR team.
Responsibilities
Source candidates, organize interviews, screen applications, conduct initial interviews, and make recommendations.
Conduct new hire onboarding including working with other departments for company email and IT equipment setup.
Work with cross-functional teams to analyze jobs and draft accurate job descriptions.
Manage EOR and PEO vendors and work with the accounting department to process their invoices.
Make recommendations for HR processes and take initiative on all HR tasks.
Payroll and benefits management including processing payroll and benefits enrollment and termination.
Maintain all payroll tax accounts and ensure all tax rates are up to date in HRIS.
Work with accounting team on payroll reports to ensure accurate bookkeeping.
Work with the broker to maintain all WC accounts.
Answer questions from employees about company policies and benefits.
Conduct workplace investigations and recommend resolutions.
Facilitate changes and implement policies.
Manage employee training and development.
Handle employment terminations.
Coordinate new hire performance reviews and ensure they are conducted in a timely manner.
Ensure that company-wide performance evaluations are conducted in accordance with the schedule.
Ensure HR compliance at local, state and federal levels.
Conduct periodic reviews of company policies to ensure adherence to the most current regulatory requirements.
Required Skills
Human resources management
Bilingual in Mandarin
HRIS proficiency
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum 3 years of working experience in at least two of the following fields – talent acquisition, payroll, organization development, total rewards, employee relations, performance management and learning and development.
