Project Manager Job at Trillium Staffing in Lake Orion

Trillium Construction is currently seeking a Project Manager with extensive experience in commercial shell build-out projects.

Our client is a full-service general contractor delivering new construction, remodels, and small-scale maintenance projects across various commercial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
-Oversee and manage commercial shell build-out projects from pre-construction through closeout.
-Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
-Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure design and execution align with scope and specifications.
-Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
-Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards.
-Manage procurement, subcontractor selection, permitting, and inspections.
-Maintain thorough project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and daily reports.

Qualifications:
-Minimum of 5 years of experience managing commercial shell build-out projects.
-Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, structural systems, and code compliance.
-Proven ability to manage subcontractors, vendors, and client relationships effectively.
-Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
-Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings and specifications.

Preferred:
-Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
-Experience with fast-paced retail, office, or mixed-use shell projects.
-OSHA 30 or equivalent safety training.
