Job Responsibilities This employee will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of equipment/property receiving, maintenance, and inventory at the Styx Receiving Compound.
Job Duties Include:
Receiving and inspecting DNR equipment and property delivered to the Styx Receiving Compound. Ensuring the overall security of the Styx Receiving Compound and reporting any needed repairs to the supervisor. Maintaining an inventory of office equipment and property and other DNR equipment. Acts as liaison with the State Surplus property staff for the sale of DNR surplus equipment. Making equipment available for public to view. Answering incoming telephone calls to the Compound.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
A high school diploma and two (2) years of related experience. Preferred Qualifications
Basic automotive/marine skills. Ability to operate equipment such as tractor, forklift, roll-back truck, riding lawn mowers, etc. Basic PC skills and well-versed in language and writing skills. Possess a working knowledge of routine procurement principles and practices.
