Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead and execute Human Resource (HR) strategy, reinforce best practices, oversee day-to-day HR administrative responsibilities, and manage tactical HR operations. This manager will be advising X-ES management on policy and program matters, recommending appropriate HR decisions, and creating positive employee relationships with all levels in the organization. The HR team works with all HR management programs, including recruitment, benefits, compensation, employee relations, and worker’s compensation.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Advise, develop, review, and update policies to ensure both compliance with labor laws and alignment with X-ES goals, objectives, and best practices
- Drive HR functional excellence by optimizing, documenting, and standardizing sustainable HR processes across the team
- Collaborate to ensure high levels of manager effectiveness and employee engagement
- Coordinate and align the organizational structure and existing role requirements, while identifying necessary new or modified roles
- Partner closely with the Executive Team to develop and drive key HR objectives, strategies, and projects throughout X-ES
- Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, investigations, documentation, and terminations
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and company policies
- Oversee benefits administration, recruitment, performance management, and professional development of the HR team
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited institution
- Minimum of seven (7+) years of Human Resources experience, including three (3+) years managing people
- Effective communication skills both in written and verbal presentation with a communication style that is open, credible, and understanding
- Computer proficiency and a high level of organization with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, fostering a culture of employee involvement, engagement, and collaboration
- Ability to work onsite from our facility located at 9901 Silicon Prairie Parkway in Verona, WI
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Human Resources or MBA from an accredited institution
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification
- Knowledge of HR management including organizational development, conflict resolution, and relationship management at all levels
- High level of planning and organizational skills, including the ability to provide clear direction, delegate appropriately, and remove obstacles to achieving departmental goals
- Ability to resolve conflicts and build effective teams
- Demonstrate discretion, able to work with sensitive and confidential materials, and possess good business judgement
- Strong knowledge of widely-accepted HR practices with an understanding of the laws, rules, and compliance obligations of an employer
- Understanding and prior experience working in HRIS functionalities needed for end to end HR management (UKG/UltiPro preferred)
- Experience with reviewing wellness benefit offerings and vendor evaluation
