The Global Renewals organization is the engine that protects and grows Salesforce's most critical revenue streams. Our Renewals Strategy & Planning team is the strategic nerve center for this global organization. We don't just analyze the business; we architect its future. We serve as the core strategic partners to Renewals leadership, designing the Go-to-Market (GTM) models, financial frameworks, and operational blueprints required to drive long-term, profitable customer partnerships at scale. Role Overview
As the Manager of GTM Analytics & Insights, you will be the analytical heartbeat of the Renewals GTM strategy team. This is a hands-on data role focused on uncovering the "what" and the "why" behind our business. You will be responsible for building our analytical foundation from the ground upfrom owning the data connection to our Snowflake warehouse to designing proactive dashboards that identify opportunities and risks. You will be the team's primary analytical partner, transforming raw data into the foundational insights that power our GTM strategy, financial plans, and executive decisions. This high-impact role requires deep technical proficiency, a passion for data exploration, and the ability to translate complex quantitative findings into a clear strategic narrative. Your Impact & Responsibilities
GTM Analytics & Insights Foundation Serve as the team's subject matter expert on data, owning the data pipeline and connection to our Snowflake data warehouse to empower self-service and advanced analytics.
Design, build, and maintain a suite of proactive dashboards in Tableau (or similar BI tools) to monitor the health of the business, tracking KPIs such as attrition hotspots, net new AOV trends, segment-level performance, and renewal rate drivers.
Act as the primary analytical partner for the GTM Strategy team, leading the charge on ad-hoc strategic inquiries and performing deep-dive analyses to answer the business's most pressing questions.
Develop a deep understanding of our data infrastructure and partner with central BI and data engineering teams to advocate for and acquire the data sources needed to elevate our strategic insights.
Data-Driven Strategy & Design Provide the foundational analytics that inform the architecture and refinement of the GTM strategy, including customer segmentation, coverage models, and rules of engagement.
Conduct in-depth quantitative analysis to identify untapped growth opportunities in our customer base, modeling the potential impact of different GTM motions.
Use statistical methods to analyze the effectiveness of current strategies, providing data-backed recommendations on where to invest, divest, or optimize our approach.
Analytical Forecasting & Planning Develop the data-driven inputs that power the annual and quarterly planning process, including sophisticated headcount, capacity, and financial models grounded in rigorous data analysis.
Build comprehensive business cases and Return on Investment (ROI) models using historical performance data and predictive insights to justify strategic investments.
Own the analytical models for the long-range financial forecast, providing detailed, data-backed projections for key metrics like Renewal Rate, Attrition, and Contract Term Length.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years in a highly analytical role such as GTM Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Science, Strategy Consulting, or Business Operations.
Advanced, hands-on expertise in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries to manipulate large datasets from the ground up. Direct experience with Snowflake is required.
Proven track record of designing and building insightful and automated dashboards using BI tools like Tableau or similar platforms.
Experience building complex financial and operational models (e.g., forecasting, capacity planning, ROI analysis) in Excel/Google Sheets.
Education: Bachelors Degree in a quantitative field such as Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
Skills: Technical Proficiency: Expertise in SQL and large-scale data warehouses (Snowflake). Proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau strongly preferred).
Quantitative & Analytical Expertise: Exceptional quantitative skills with a deep understanding of financial modeling, statistical analysis, and business intelligence principles.
Problem Solving: A structured, hypothesis-driven approach to solving complex and often ambiguous business problems with data.
Data Storytelling & Influence: A proven ability to synthesize complex quantitative findings into a compelling, data-driven narrative for a business and executive audience.
Business Partnership: Ability to operate as a credible and responsive analytical partner to stakeholders across the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or other advanced degree in an analytical field.
Experience in a B2B SaaS environment, specifically supporting Sales, Renewals, or Customer Success functions.
Familiarity with Salesforce CRM data structure and reporting.
Experience with statistical programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis is a plus.
