ALL ABOUT FOOD & BEVERAGE
The Food & Beverage team enables a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is fresh, in stock, available and accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. They are experts of operations, process and efficiency. This team leads food and food services including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for all Food and Beverage areas of the store.
Role Overview
The role of a Starbucks Barista offers the chance to:
- Gain knowledge of guest service fundamentals and build a guest-first culture in Starbucks
- Provide a consistent Starbucks experience by curating handcrafted products
- Manage food quality and freshness
- Follow state and federal food safety and OSHA guidelines
Typical Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing quality handcrafted beverages and food
- Uphold and maintain Food and Beverage Standards, Starbucks brand standards, and food safety standards
- Execute food and beverage processes such as replenishment, stocking, inventory accuracy, and cleanliness
- Support promotional activities and drive efficiency while maintaining food safety
- Support digital order fulfillment and maintain an inviting dining area
- Engage with guests to meet and exceed expectations, and ensure proper packaging and labeling
- Follow all safety, quality, and inventory procedures
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous Starbucks/food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming attitude and good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to lift up to 44 pounds and work in varying temperatures
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
