Supervisory General Supply Specialist
Serves as the Stock Readiness Coordinator and Supervisor for the Stock Readiness and Inventory Team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy of accountable records. Supervises Division of personnel who are responsible for wholesale inventories, location surveys, and other inventory type support functions. Coordinates the overall physical inventory/causative research program for the depot. Participates in planning current and long-range objectives and new policies and procedures for the depot. Serves as focal point for inventory schedules for assigned commodities and provides special inventory services. Ensures the divisions' standardization, quality control, improvement initiatives and audit readiness metrics are met. Must be a U.S. citizen Tour of Duty: Set Schedule Security Requirements: Non-Critical Sensitive with Secret Access Appointment is subject to the completion of a favorable suitability or fitness determination, where reciprocity cannot be applied; unfavorably adjudicated background checks will be grounds for removal. Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA): Exempt Selective Service Requirement: Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service.
