Billing Specialist (Contract)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Billing Specialist to join our team on an 8-month contract in Bellevue, WA. The Billing Specialist will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and processing invoices, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining strong communication with internal teams and external customers. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, generate, and issue customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner Review contracts, purchase orders, and billing agreements to ensure proper billing Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve issues with clients or internal departments Track and monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices Maintain accurate records of billing, payments, and account status Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to support month-end close activities Provide customer service by responding to billing inquiries and resolving disputes Assist with ad hoc reporting and special projects as assigned Qualifications: 2+ years of billing, accounts receivable, or related accounting experience Strong knowledge of billing processes and accounting principles Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/billing software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients and internal teams Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Details: Contract: 8 months (with potential extension) Schedule: Full-time, onsite in Bellevue, WA Pay: $25$30/hour DOE Benefits: LHH Recruitment Solutions benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
